The concrete has now been replaced and the work is finished. This area is now safe and has made an improvement to the presbytery.

Church and Presbytery Doors. Thank you to the parishioners who have helped to replace and paint the church doors and the presbytery door. These doors now look beautiful as we enter the church.

St John’s Riverstone Youth Group 2021

Our parish youth have had to miss there gatherings for over a year due to the pandemic. We would like to organise a get-together for our Youth on a Friday night in the near future, so that they may re-connect after this long period of time. We will need to have a few parent volunteers for the night, as we would like to serve pizza. We are asking for expressions of interest from families to attend and possibly help on this night. Please phone the parish office to discuss further and to place your child’s name on the attendance list. We will advise the date for the gathering soon. We are really looking forward to begin our gatherings for the youth of our Parish.

Our Parish now has a Tap and Go Eftpos Terminal in

the porch for your convenience. These donations go directly to our Riverstone Parish, the same collection as the 2nd Collection plate.

NEW COMMITTEE 2021 – St John’s Grant Committee.

This year, St John’s Riverstone would like to form a new committee that will research and apply for various funding grants available from the government.

This will involve using a computer from home to research and prepare the grant paperwork. Communication between the committee and Fr Zakaria and the Parish Team will be mostly via emails and telephone.

If you would like to help our Parish by joining this committee, please contact the Parish Office. We would like to thank one of our parishioners who has already kindly volunteered. We really need a few more people to help make this committee.

St John’s Parish has 1 x Walker frame with seat available to take home. If any of our parishioners need this sort of assistance item, please contact the parish office to organise collection.
