STATIONS OF THE CROSS will be held during Lent

* Wednesday after the 8.30am Mass and

* Friday evenings at 7pm before Mass at 7:30pm

Please be advised that the 7:30pm Mass will be held every Friday night during Lent. All parishioners are welcome to attend.

LENTEN GROUPS  - Participating in a Lenten Group is a great way to prepare for Easter. The meetings will involve listening to the Gospel for the forthcoming Sundays throughout lent, sharing and discussion. You are invited to join the group on Wednesday 7:00pm in the hall or Friday mornings after 8:30am Mass.

If you would like to volunteer at Mass during Holy Week, please add your name to the roster located in the porch.

POSTPONED - Bishop’s Good Samaritan Appeal

Following directives from the Diocese of Parramatta, the Catholic Foundation’s Bishop’s Good Samaritan Appeal for this coming weekend (21 and 22 March) around the theme of the Good Samaritan, has been postponed until later in the year.

Sacraments- If you have a child who is eligible to make their First Reconciliation, First Holy Communion or Confirmation this year, please take a letter with all the dates and details from the porch. You may make a booking for your child by calling the office or attending the information meeting.

The St John’s Sacramental Program will commence with the Reconciliation Information Session on Monday 4 May at 4pm or Wednesday 6 May at 7pm.

As an unmarried woman with a disability, Sakun was isolated and unable to earn a living until Caritas Australia helped her set up a thriving kiosk. Now involved in village decision-making, Sakun’s income is growing, along with her confidence.

Each Lamb is beautifully packaged with a prayer card and explanation of the Lamb as the paschal symbol for Christianity. Lambs can be purchased from the Piety Store or the Parish Office.
