Youth Group Friday

Camp 18, 19, 20 October

All children and their parents are invited to attend. There will be many activities during the camp. Please ask your friends to come along.

Youth Camp Times are:

Friday Night 18th 5:30pm – 8:30pm

Saturday 19th 9:00am – 4:00pm

Sunday 20th. 9:00am to attend Mass – 3:00pm

Youth Group gathering on Fri 25th Oct is cancelled.

Available for Hire - 2 separate rooms in a building situated on our church grounds. The rooms are available separately or could be hired together. This would suite a small business such as tutoring or language classes, music school or book keeping. The rooms are the size of a school classroom. There are toilets nearby and this would also include the use of the car park. This could be a permanent booking for 6 or 12 months at a time, 5 or 6 days a week. Thank you to the students and teachers from St John’s Primary School, Riverstone, who celebrated Mass with us last Sunday at 9am. Mass was a lovely experience. We look forward to the next time we can celebrate together.

PLENARY COUNCIL 2020: invites people to continue to participate in the journey towards the Council sessions in 2020 and 2021. The “Listening and Discernment” phase recently opened and a guide has been developed to encourage groups to take part in communal discernment on the National Themes for Discernment. The Institute for Mission at Blacktown will be holding sessions in October and November. Information is on our noticeboard.

Alpha Program Weekend Training: 8 – 10 November

The Pastoral Planning Office is running a training course in the Alpha Catholic program at the Institute for Mission, Blacktown. A sample Alpha evening will be held on Friday 8 November from 7pm to 9pm, before full-day training sessions on Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 November. Morning and afternoon tea and lunch will be provided. CatholicCare Blacktown Neighbourhood Aid Volunteers Needed -Blacktown Neighbour Aid, a program with CatholicCare, is looking for volunteers to support our senior clients in the Blacktown area to remain living independently in their own home.
