Couples For Christ Christian Life Program (CLP)

St John’s Parish, Riverstone

Couples for Christ (CFC) is conducting a Christian Life Program orientation afternoon on Saturday, 14 September 2019 in the Parish Hall at 2:00PM. Open to married (and soon to be married) Christian couples and individuals who are singles 19 years and older, widows/widowers and separated/divorced.

This weekend, the Catholic Church in Australia marks Child Protection Sunday, on which we pray for those who have been abused, their families and supporters. We recognise the harm done by priests, religious and lay people in Church settings. We recommit to practices that support survivors and make the Catholic Church and its ministries the safest possible place for children and vulnerable adults. Parishioner Request – A volunteer to pick up and drop off a parishioner in Schofields each week for 9am Sunday Mass. Please phone the parish office.

What Will Be Your Legacy of Faith, Hope and Charity? During Include A Charity Week, next weekend, we invite you – after providing for your loved ones – to consider leaving a Gift in your Will to our Parish, or a ministry in Parramatta Diocese.  Legacy gifts advance Christian works of faith, hope and charity for future generations. Youth Group

Friday 27th September at 6pm

All children and their parents are invited to attend. Activities for the children will be a highlight of the evening. There will also be activities for the parents. Please come along and you are most welcome to bring a friend. Youth Group is held in our church hall. We also have some exciting news – Youth Group Camp in October. This would include activities Friday Night 18th till late, and most of the day on both Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th. More information to come….

Available for Hire - 2 separate rooms in a building situated on our church grounds. The rooms are available separately or could be hired together. This would suite a small business such as tutoring or language classes, music school, book keeping. The rooms are the size of a school classroom. There are toilets nearby and this would also include the use of the car park. This could be a permanent booking for 6 or 12 months at a time, 5 or 6 days a week.
