BAPTISM: We welcome Timothy Eroles into our community and congratulate his family and friends on this special day.

St John’s Parish Sacramental Program - We congratulate all of the children for celebrating their First Reconciliation this weekend – May they discover the peace and the amazing love of God’s forgiveness. We thank the families and the sacramental team who have supported the children during this program.

The Sacrament of First Holy Communion will commence with an information session on Mon 29 July 4pm or Wed 31 July 7pm.

Bishop’s Good Shepherds Appeal - 1st and 2nd June

When God calls, will you help them answer?  The Holy Spirit Seminary in Harris Park is training 15 young men to be true shepherds of Christ’s flock and future priests for the Diocese of Parramatta.  We invite you to become the extended formation community for these young men through your prayers, accompaniment, and support of the Bishop’s Good Shepherds Appeal. The Next Youth Group is

All children and their parents are invited to attend. Activities for the children will be a highlight of the evening. There will also be activities for the parents. Please come along and you are most welcome to bring a friend.

Our Parish started construction for the toilets last week. We are asking for your generosity in helping to raise funds for the building of the toilets, as these works are expensive. If would like to donate towards the building of the toilets - our parish would be grateful. SRE’s – Would you like more joy and meaning in your life? Would you like

to participate in Christ’s call to share the Good News? Then become an SRE or helper in local state primary schools during school hours. In this parish Special

Altar Servers – if your child was unable to attend our last training session and is interested in becoming an Altar Server, please speak to Fr Zak who can arrange

another training session at a time suitable.

St John’s Primary, Riverstone are participating in the Woolworths Earn & Learn Program running in May & June. Our school is hoping our parishioners can assist in collecting stickers from purchases made at any Woolworths and place these in the box provided at the back of the

Church. The more stickers the children collect, the more school equipment they can earn.
